At the end of April, Marketex Offshore Constructions hosted a group of students from the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre.
Igor Karavajev, head of the welding group of Marketex Offshore Constructions, told the guests about the company’s projects projects and details of the job, meanwhile checking ability of future welders to read drawings and WPS. The students were also lucky enough to observe the operation of Elme TKS experts in non-destructive testing, performing ultrasonic testing of welded joints in Marketex Offshore Constructions.
Yet at the beginning of April, students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the TalTech University of Applied Sciences, explored equipment and processes of manufacturing of complex metal structures in the production departments of Marketex Offshore Constructions. Future engineers, together with Aleksei Mironov, head of the large-size machining workshop of the enterprise, went through his “possessions” and examined the technical parameters and operation of the new Škoda machine tool in detail. In addition, Priit Promann, Project Manager of Marketex Vision, took visitors to the new facilities and told them about the company’s most important projects.
